Our church recently held a festival in Middlesboro, KY, as outreach to the local community.

We had booths that included free clothing, school supplies, free smoothies, and literature for anyone interested.

The amount of clothing handed out, coupled with the amount we have remaining for a future endeavor, could completely outfit Walmart.  It was absolutely heartwarming to support the community in this way.

We were blessed to be joined by Tricia Humphries of Co-Laborer's Ministry, who stole the show with her presentation on healthy digestion.

We were also grateful to be joined by Miller Mendez, with Adventist World Radio.  If you're not aware, as a worldwide outreach AWR broadcasts the Gospel where missionaries cannot go, transforming lives for eternity.  Using shortwave radio, national radio networks, local FM stations, on demand podcasts, and solar audio players with pre-loaded content, AWR is single-handedly responsible for tens of thousands of souls around the globe won for Christ.

Elder Robert Washington, a friend of the church, attended as a representative of the Bible Instructors' Guild, with a goal of uplifting Christ and hastening His soon return.

Local ladies had oils and tinctures to foster health and wellness.

Friends of our church also had a booth for Alien Sugar, who manufacture natural, healthy soaps for daily use.

Participants were provided a free lunch, plenty of water throughout the day, free handouts, and lots of love.  The festival was so successful that we're looking forward to repeating it annually.
