Adventists believe we have a special mission to call the people of God to come out of Babylon. That is to say, to join the historical, faithful and visible end-time remnant of God by obedience to all of His commandments.

The First Angel’s Message

The first angel proclaims the everlasting gospel and calls for the restoration of the true worship of God as Creator, because the judgment hour has arrived.

The Second Angel’s Message

The second angel warns against all humanly-originated forms of worship and beliefs that are not based completely on God’s Word.

The Third Angel’s Message

Finally, the third angel proclaims God’s solemn warning against worshiping the beast and his image.

The third angel's message is a solemn warning against observance of Sunday as a sacred day (the fourth commandment), which we have historically interpreted as the mark of the beast.

Our church teaches that these messages are given to prepare the world for the second coming of Jesus Christ, and sees them as a central part of our mission.
